NovaDrum – Handmade Steel Tongue Drums From a Leading Workshop

NovaDrum is a small workshop based in Ukraine, founded in 2016 by a group of passionate craftspeople and sound explorers. With a team of just four, we handcraft each steel tongue drum and handpan with attention to detail, love for the art, and deep respect for sound.

We manufacture and ship drums in Ukraine, Kyiv, and yes — it’s been a journey. Through blackouts, through tough times, through a global pandemic — we kept crafting. Our workshop has seen a lot, but what never changed is our belief in slow craft and fast joy: slow in the care we take, fast in the way our instruments connect with people. So if you’re holding a NovaDrum, know this: it didn’t just come from a workshop. It came from a circle of real people who want you to feel grounded, inspired, and maybe even a little transformed.

We make steel tongue drums and handpans for musicians, therapists, sound explorers, and curious newcomers alike. Some of our customers are seasoned percussionists. Others are kids plunking out lullabies. Some play in yoga studios; others in their kitchens between boiling the pasta and feeding the cat. That range—that accessibility—is what makes these instruments magic. You don’t need lessons or a reason. Just curiosity.
