I’m a beginner. Can I play on it?
Sure! It's a completely intuitive drum. This will suit everyone, even for children. You don't have to know the notes. Thanks to wide selection of harmonic scales - everyone will be able to choose an instrument for themselves.
Therapy: 15-20 minutes playing per day will give boost of energy, relieve stress and fatigue, also help to relax.
How to choose the scale?
Main rule is: Trust Your Intuition.
We recommend relying on your hearing and feeling when listening to an instrument.
Try to get away from making choices with mind, rely on your heart.

*Most popular for beginners - Celtic Minor.
What’s difference between model sizes?
Main rule is: The bigger size - the deeper sound. But it has to balance for you as the larger size adds weight. You can choose between 28, 38 or 48cm - All 3 sizes are in stock.
We also sew convenient cases that will allow travel with your instrument easily.
There is no best size - each is good in its own area! Choose the size of instrument that suits best exactly for you.
Does the colour / coating affect sound?
The sound is affected by many factors, such as geometry of the shells, the mark of steel and even width of the sound zone.If you like an instrument with a textured coating - of course, micro thickness of coating will add a little "dryness" to drum vibrations while a clean surface will be more ringing. But this is a very insignificant difference and should not affect your choice. The sound meets our high standards - you can choose the color and style that suits you best. Sound quality comes first.

I absolutely love this drum. The build quality is really solid and instils confidence.
I was offered free engraving on ordering, which didn't end up happening when I received it, but that is superfluous, hence the 5 stars still.
My ability to lose myself in meditation has improved so much since I received this beautiful drum.
I wish only that nova drum had more scales available as I kind of need them all now 😂
Be aware that if ordering to the UK, the customs duty is around 30 quid. But it's totally worth it.

Absolutely brilliant! It’s beautiful, beautifully crafted, and the laser engravings I requested have been applied flawlessly. The instrument has been tuned to perfection. The sound is harmonious and the sustain lingers for a long time in waves. I prefer to play it with the mallets supplied, as I personally find it easier to play even the subtlest nuances of tone that way. Of course, it works just as well with fingers. All in all, this purchase has been absolutely worth it for me. A heartfelt thank you to Novadrum!

I choose the large (19 inch) drum. The design is beautiful and the sound is even better. It's heavy in a good way and learning to play it will be fun, relaxing and enjobable.
Ordered the largest size in B Celtic Minor (10 notes), with travel case. Only took one week from ordering to delivery (UK). It looks and sounds fantastic. Excellent proactive communication from the NovaDrum team throughout. Very happy!
Honestly such a great instrument to pick up if you’re new to playing a hand pan/Steel tongue drum. The quality is just so worth it for the price and you’ll find yourself playing it for hrs on end once you start getting into the flow of everything.
Very well conceived instrument with quality materials, beautiful design and magical sound. I was looking for something that is smaller than a handpan and more versatile than a tongue drum so really happy with the Nova Drum. Recommend also for the responsive team behind this product. A good quality handpan being far too expensive for my budget, I discovered steel tongue drums whose sounds have been refined and deepened year after year. So I got this one after having listened to youtube videos quite a few times, and even if i have to learn to play it (I prefer with the hands than with the mallets) and to create rhythms, I discovered the meditative aspect of this instrument just by tapping on it and it is very satisfying. I think it will only be the first of a small collection, because I hesitated a lot with the golden gate ;)
